Renewed by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the IMM Fatih Sports Complex re-entered service with a ceremony. Speaking at the ceremony, IMM Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan emphasized that sports investments will continue throughout the city.

Redesigned Facility

Serving since 2010 and worn down over time, the Fatih Sports Complex was rebuilt almost from scratch. All areas of the facility were reconsidered in accordance with today's needs and modern standards.

Pool at International Standards

The 10-lane Olympic swimming pool within the facility was brought up to international standards. Thanks to these improvements, the pool was enabled to serve athletes under more professional conditions.

Modern Equipment and Special Areas

The complex's studios were equipped with modern equipment, and the indoor gym and locker rooms were renovated. Additionally, accessibility was increased by building special areas for individuals with disabilities within the facility.

Realized Investments

In his speech at the ceremony, IMM Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan stated that they have brought 33 new sports facilities to Istanbul and increased the number of swimming pools to 29. It was also stated that the facilities are used by 580 amateur sports clubs.
