Signings Made as the Summer Transfer Window Closes in the Süper Lig
As the summer transfer and registration period nears its end in Turkey, the players added to the squads of Süper Lig teams have become clear.
Hours before the completion of the summer transfer and registration period in Turkey, the players included in the squads of Süper Lig clubs have been announced. Teams, especially Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and Trabzonspor, have added many names to their rosters.
Galatasaray's Major Additions
Galatasaray strengthened its squad with notable names during the summer transfer window. The club added Rafael Leao from Milan to its roster for a transfer fee of 38 million euros.
The yellow-red team also signed Deniz Gül from Porto for a 10 million euro transfer fee while also acquiring El Chadaille Bitshiabu on loan from RB Leipzig.
Beşiktaş's New Squad Moves
Beşiktaş included young and high-potential players in its squad during the summer transfer window. The black-and-whites added Fabio Miretti from Juventus and Ernest Poku from Bayer Leverkusen on loan.
Additionally, Ümit Akdağ from Alanyaspor was among the names that joined the Beşiktaş squad on a permanent transfer.
Trabzonspor' and Fenerbahçe's Transfers
Trabzonspor included Franculino Dju, who played for Midtjylland, in its squad for a transfer fee of 17 million euros.
On the Fenerbahçe front, Kojo Peprah Oppong was added to the squad from Nice with no transfer fee disclosed, while Cengiz Ünder transferred to Çorum FK without a transfer fee.
Signings Made by Other Clubs
Süper Lig and lower league teams also made reinforcements to their squads shortly before the transfer window closed. Gençlerbirliği loaned Victor Orakpo from Nice, while Konyaspor added Mostafa Mohamed from Nantes to its roster.
Kocaelispor brought in Tobias Fjeld Gulliksen on loan from Rapid Wien and also included Florian Aye from Servette in its squad.
