Sports equipment and course support provided to students in Hakkari

Within the scope of the project supported by the Directorate General for Relations with Civil Society of the Ministry of Interior in Hakkari, sports equipment support was provided to 60 students studying at Akçalı Primary and Secondary School, and basic archery and football techniques courses were implemented.

Equipment Distribution within the Scope of the Project

An event was organized at Akçalı Primary and Secondary School located in Bağışlı village by the Hakkari Bağışlı Culture and Youth Association. On the occasion of the event, various sports materials were distributed to the students.

Archery and Football Courses

A total of 60 students were selected for the basic archery and football techniques courses to be held at the school within the scope of the Çanakkale and Hagia Sophia Longing Project. 30 students have been determined for each of the branches.

Activities Carried Out and Statements

Association President and Hakkari Deputy Mayor Hikmet Yaşar stated in his speech during the program that swimming training was provided to children during the summer period and that the course was successfully completed.

Yaşar stated that along with archery and football training, different sports activities will also be held at the school, expressing that the experiences gained at this age will positively affect the physical and mental development of the children.

Provincial Director of Relations with Civil Society Metin Ertuş, association board members, school administration, and students' parents attended the event.
