Sports Fields Across Batman Are Being Redesigned
Maintenance and renovation work has been initiated on volleyball, basketball, and football fields in Batman to ensure children can play sports safely.
Within the scope of the works initiated upon the instructions of Batman Governor and Acting Mayor Ekrem Canalp, the surfaces of volleyball, basketball, and football fields throughout the city are being painted, and their wire fences and damaged sections are being renewed.
Special Teams Inspected the Fields
Following the instruction of Governor and Acting Mayor Ekrem Canalp, special field teams were established within the body of the Parks and Gardens Directorate. These teams inspected all sports facilities across the city one by one and identified the points in need.
Maintenance and Repair Works Continue
Comprehensive work has been initiated on the identified volleyball, basketball, and football fields. While carrying out surface painting processes, the teams are renewing the wire fencing and repairing damaged sections.
Safe Areas for Children
It was stated that the main purpose of the ongoing renovation and maintenance works is to enable children to play sports safely in their own neighborhoods during off-school hours.
Works Will Continue According to Schedule
In statements made by officials, it was emphasized that these renovation activities aimed at modernizing sports fields will continue uninterruptedly within the program determined across the city.
