Developments in the MHK Process
Turkish Football Federation Central Arbitration Board President Ferhat Gündoğdu had been detained within the scope of a forgery investigation conducted by the Financial Crimes Investigation Branch.
Out of the seven suspects referred to the courthouse within the scope of the investigation, including Ferhat Gündoğdu, four were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
Emphasis on Chaos and Timing by Dursun Özbek
In his evaluation of the events, Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek recalled that they had previously called on the Turkish Football Federation as a club for the MHK to be changed.
Stating that due to the inability to manage the process in a timely manner, there was neither an MHK president nor a referee left shortly before the start of the league, Özbek expressed that the situation led to chaos.
Call for a Break in the League
Expressing that the TFF's silence has further amplified the existing chaos, the Galatasaray President underlined that the events need to be clarified and cleared up as soon as possible.
