Turkey's Road to the Final
The Senior Women's National Volleyball Team secured four wins and one loss in Group A matches in Istanbul. Defeating Azerbaijan 3-0 in the round of 16, Germany 3-1 in the quarterfinals, and Serbia 3-0 in the semifinals, the national team achieved a total of seven victories in eight matches played.
Italy's Performance
Italy finished Group D in Gothenburg as the leader with five wins. Defeating Bulgaria 3-0 in the round of 16, Sweden and Poland 3-1 in the quarterfinals and semifinals respectively, the opponent team won all eight matches they played up to the final.
