Süper Lig referee Yasin Kol, who was detained within the scope of the illegal betting and sports crimes investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was taken to the police headquarters after undergoing a health check in Istanbul.

Development of the Investigation and Transfer Process

Süper Lig referee Yasin Kol, who was detained in Trabzon within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Bureau for Illegal Betting and Sports Crimes, was transferred to Istanbul by air.

Health Check and Police Procedures

Kol, who was brought to Bayrampaşa State Hospital by teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch, was taken to the police headquarters following the health check there.

It was learned that the procedures at the police headquarters are ongoing for Yasin Kol along with Süper Lig assistant referee Göktuğ Hazar Erel, whose name is mentioned in the investigation.

Charges and Scope

The investigation into the suspects is multifaceted and continues regarding accusations of torment, forgery of official documents, breach of trust, and unlawful acquisition of personal data.

Previous Procedures and Reports

In previous operations, seven suspects, including Central Referee Board (MHK) Chairman Ferhat Gündoğdu, TFF Active Referees Association President Ferdi Karadoruk, former MHK Deputy Chairman Ahmet Şahin, and former executives, had been referred to the courthouse.

It was reported that the investigation, deepened in line with MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board), HTS (historical traffic search), and expert reports, is continuing comprehensively.
