By a decision made at the September ordinary council meeting, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality is establishing the Department of Youth and Sports Services to gather youth and sports services under a single roof.

Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality will establish a new department in order to gather youth and sports services under a single roof.
This department, to be established with the decision taken at the September ordinary council meeting, will ensure the coordination of activities throughout the city.
Access to Sports Will Be Increased
With the new unit, it is aimed to make sports an important part of city life and to increase access to sports for citizens of all ages.
Children and youth will be brought together with sports through summer and winter sports schools, swimming pools, supports for amateur sports, and sporting activities.
International Organizations Targeted
It is aimed to spread investments throughout the city and make Tekirdağ a center for national and international organizations.
In this context, various studies are planned to be carried out for the development of sports tourism.
Innovative Youth Programs
In addition to youth centers, study areas, workshops, and camps, innovative programs will also be implemented.
Projects for youth will be developed in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, digital skills, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
