A fire broke out for an undetermined reason at a private gym in Batman. According to initial reports, it was stated that approximately thirty people were trapped.
Teams Dispatched to the Scene
Numerous fire, 112 emergency medical, police, AFAD, and UMKE teams were rapidly dispatched to the scene. The teams reached the area in a short time and initiated intervention efforts.
Statement from Governor Canalp
Arriving at the scene, Batman Governor Ekrem Canalp announced that two citizens lost their lives in the fire, and that there were injured or affected individuals.
Cooling and Investigation Operations
With the intensive intervention of the teams, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. Cooling operations and investigations regarding the incident were initiated in the area.
