Türk Telekom reached the championship by claiming the top spot after all matches concluded at the Gloria Cup held in Antalya, which hosts new season preparations.
The Gloria Cup basketball tournament, held at the Gloria Sports Arena in Antalya, came to an end following the final matches, with Türk Telekom completing the organization as champions.
Tournament Details and Participation
Bringing together prominent basketball teams from different countries in Antalya as part of new season preparations, a total of 21 official matches were played between September 1 and 13. Hosted by the Gloria Sports Arena, the tournament featured teams competing from Turkey (9), Russia (2), Romania (1), and the United Arab Emirates (1).
League Format and Ranking System
Organized in a league format, the champion was determined by rankings based on the best three matches played by the teams. Thanks to this format, rather than a single final match, all matches played throughout the tournament carried significance for the standings.
Closing Match and Rankings
In the final match of the tournament, Anadolu Efes defeated U-BT Cluj-Napoca 87-69. At the end of the tournament, Türk Telekom placed first as champion, Bahçeşehir Koleji second, and Tofaş third.
