Turkish Athletes Advance to the Finals at the European Boxing Championships
Winning their semi-final matches at the European Boxing Championships, 5 national athletes secured their names in the finals, while some athletes also won bronze medals.
Turkish athletes Busenaz Sürmeneli, Hatice Akbaş, Büşra Işıldar, Havvanur Kethüda, and Emrah Yaşar achieved success by defeating their opponents to advance to the finals at the European Boxing Championships.

In yesterday's semi-final bouts at the European Boxing Championships, our national athletes left the ring with victories and secured their tickets to the finals.
Successes in the Semi-Finals
In the women's 51 kg, Hatice Akbaş defeated Poland's Kuczewska 5-0, while in the 70 kg, Busenaz Sürmeneli edged past her Russian opponent Golubeva with a score of 3-2.
In the 75 kg, Büşra Işıldar defeated Norway's Hofstad, and in the +80 kg, Havvanur Kethüda defeated Poland's Wojcik to write their names in the finals.
Competing in the men's 90 kg, Emrah Yaşar became another of our national boxers to reach the finals by defeating his German opponent Lebowski 5-0.

The opponents for our national boxers in their upcoming championship final matches have also become clear.
Hatice Akbaş will face Spain's Fuertes, Busenaz Sürmeneli will face Britain's Reid, Emrah Yaşar will face Spain's Reyes Pla, and Büşra Işıldar will face Ireland's Orourke.
Names Winning Bronze Medals
In the women's 48 kg semi-final, Nurselen Yalgettekin was defeated by Ukraine's Hanna Okhotha, while in the men's 50 kg, Samet Gümüş lost to Azerbaijan's Subhan Mamedov, both claiming the bronze medal.
Quarter-Final Match Results
In the quarter-final bouts, Gizem Özer in the women's 60 kg defeated her Czech opponent Barbora Maxova, and Esra Yıldız Kahraman in the 57 kg defeated Romanian Lacramiora Perijoc to advance to the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Buse Naz Çakıroğlu was eliminated from the tournament after losing 3-2 to Serbian Sara Ćirković.
