According to the statement by the Turkish Volleyball Federation, the national team faced Denmark in a friendly match at the Ankara TVF Ziraat Bankkart Volleyball Hall.

Turkey started the match with a starting seven consisting of Efe Bayram, Ahmet Tümer, Murat Yenipazar, Mirza Lagumdzija, Marko Matic, Adis Lagumdzija, and Berkay Bayraktar.
Kaan Gürbüz, Ahmet Samet Baltacı, Gökçen Yüksel, Cafer Kirkit, Abdulsamet Yalçın, Yunus Emre Tayaz, and Hilmi Şahin later came off the bench to join the game.
