Turkish National Football Team begins preparations for Italy match
Following their defeat against France, the national team started preparing for the Italy match, with Orkun Kökçü training separately alongside a physiotherapist.
Having lost to France in the Nations League, the Turkish National Football Team started preparations for their match against Italy under the management of head coach Vincenzo Montella. Orkun Kökçü, who has been experiencing pain since the beginning of the camp, trained separately from the team accompanied by a physiotherapist.
First Training Session for the Italy Match
According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, the crescent-and-star team held their first training session ahead of the Italy encounter following the match played against France in Kocaeli.
The training session at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities was held under the management of head coach Vincenzo Montella.
Players' Training Program
Players who started in the initial XI against France did not participate in the training and completed the day with recovery work.
The other footballers, after warm-up movements, performed passing, tactical, and finishing drills, and then concluded the session with a tactical work session on a half-pitch.
Orkun Kökçü's Situation
Due to pain in his toe that has kept him from normal training since the beginning of the camp, Orkun Kökçü worked separately from the team with a physiotherapist during the training session.
Journey to Bursa and Final Preparations
TFF Vice President Mecnun Otyakmaz also watched the national team's training from the stands. The crescent-and-star team will travel to Bursa by bus tomorrow for the Italy match.
The national squad will carry out their final training session before the match at the Yüzüncü Yıl Atatürk Stadium.
