Turkish volleyball's living legend Eda Erdem won 25 trophies in her career
National volleyball player Eda Erdem increased her total number of career trophies to 25 with the 2026 CEV European Championship, making history in Turkish volleyball.
In Turkey, which became champion by defeating Italy at the 2026 CEV European Volleyball Championship, legendary captain Eda Erdem experienced her fourth international triumph with the national jersey, winning a total of 25 trophies in her club and national career.
European Championship and Double Triumph
Turkey reached the championship by defeating Italy 3-2 in the 2026 CEV European Volleyball Championship final match, completing the year with a double championship. The Sultans of the Net reached a happy ending once again in the same year in both the Volleyball Nations League and the European Championship, following 2023.
Historical Successes in the National Team
Eda Erdem, an indispensable part of the Sultans of the Net since 2005, lifted the championship trophy in the international arena for the fourth time with Turkey. In addition to the 2023 and 2026 squads, Eda Erdem was also in the squad that achieved the 2005 Mediterranean Games championship.
Club Career and Won Trophies
Lifting a total of 25 trophies in her 26-year career, Eda Erdem experienced a Balkan Cup victory while wearing the Beşiktaş jersey between 2000 and 2008. She has won numerous trophies wearing the Fenerbahçe jersey since 2008.
