By defeating Germany in their fourth match in European Championship Group A, the national team achieved their fourth victory in the tournament.
The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team defeated Germany 3-1 in their fourth match in the Trendyol 2026 Women's European Volleyball Championship Group A, managing to win 4 out of 4 in the tournament.
The First Set of the Match and Turkey's Superiority
In the first set of the match, which started with traded points, the national team widened the gap during Vargas's effective service run to take a 9-4 lead and forced the opponent to call a timeout.
Although Germany tried to stay in the match with Alsmeier, the crescent-star team effectively utilized their middle blockers and won the first set 25-21 to take a 1-0 lead.
Germany Ties the Score in the Second Set
While Germany started the second set well, the national team caught up in the score with points from Vargas and put up a competitive fight.
Effective with Grozer towards the end of the set, the opponent team tied the score at 23-23 and won the set 27-25, bringing the match score to 1-1.
Control Returns to Our Nationals
Maintaining control of the game in the third set with Vargas and Hande Baladın, the crescent-star team won this set 25-20 to make the score 2-1.
Starting the fourth set with spikes from Saliha Şahin, Turkey found its rhythm with blocks from Deniz Uyanık and continued to widen the gap.

Finishing the fourth set ahead at 25-19 with the support of their fans, the nationals won the match 3-1 and guaranteed their spot in the Round of 16.
The match was watched live in the arena by Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, TVF President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, TMPK President Murat Aksu, and head coach Fatih Terim.
