Two Medals from Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Archery Team
Muğla athletes stepped onto the podium and achieved significant rankings at the Para Archery Turkey Championship in Antalya.
Competing at the 2026 Para Archery Turkey Championship held in Antalya, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality athletes completed the organization with one silver and one bronze medal.
Details of the Championship
The 2026 Para Archery Turkey Championship (TSP-3), held at the Antalya 100th Year Archery Facilities, started with qualification shootings on September 7. The organization, which saw the participation of athletes from various provinces, concluded with individual elimination matches and an award ceremony on September 8.
Silver Medal Success
Sweating it out in the Para Compound Bow Mix Team category, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality athletes Semray Taş Özer and İsa Umut became the runners-up of Turkey and won the silver medal. Additionally, finishing the eliminations in fourth place, Semray Taş Özer also achieved the Turkey runner-up position in the point-based ranking.
Bronze Medal and Other Rankings
Competing in the Para Compound Bow Men's Team category, İsa Umut and Günday Büyük finished the matches as the third place in Turkey and became the owners of the bronze medal. Another Muğla Metropolitan athlete competing in the same category, Serpil Kanat, completed the qualification shootings in fifth place.
