A Wide-Participation Technology Organization
The games, organized in cooperation with the Beijing Municipal People's Government, China Media Group, the World Robotics Cooperation Organization, and the RoboCup Asia-Pacific International Council, saw participation from robotics companies, universities, research institutes, robot clubs, and independent participants.
Thousands of Robots Competed in 51 Different Categories
A total of 2,056 robots developed by 666 teams competed in the organization, which aims to practically showcase developments in humanoid robot technology.
The robots competed in sports such as athletics, gymnastics, football, and kickboxing, as well as in performance and scenario categories.
Performance and Scenario Competitions
In the performance section, the dance and synchronized movement capabilities of the robots were evaluated in detail.
In the scenario competitions, the abilities of the robots to handle materials, classify objects, and organize were measured.
Major Increase Compared to Last Year
Participation in the organization, held for the second time this year, showed a significant increase compared to last year.
While 250 teams and 500 robots competed in 26 categories in 2025, this year 666 teams and 2,056 robots competed in 51 categories.
