Flag Ceremony in Nagoya
An official flag-raising ceremony for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation was held at Fuji Plaza in Garden Pier, Nagoya Port, at 10:00 Japan time.
Attended by delegation representatives and athletes, this welcoming ceremony ensured the flag was hoisted at the Asian Games venue ahead of the official opening on September 19.
Teqball Competitions
Following the flag ceremony, attention turned to the athletes competing in the teqball event, and head-to-head matches got underway.
The duo Nguyen Hoang Minh Tam and Trinh Gia Nghi faced various countries throughout the day in the mixed doubles group stage.
Vietnam U23 Football Match
In Group C of the men's football tournament, the Vietnam U23 and Philippines U23 teams faced each other in a crucial match.
