In his group speech addressing party members, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli expressed that Turkey's momentum of economic and political rise must not be interrupted. Bahceli stated that Recep Tayyip Erdogan becoming a candidate once again is essential for the continuation of this process.
Parliamentary Decision and the 2028 Elections
Referring to Article 116 of the Constitution, Bahceli reminded that the path to a third-term candidacy could be cleared through a decision by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to renew the elections with a qualified majority. He emphasized that the elections should be held on time, specifically within the year 2028.
Rain Strategy and New Era Formula
Including the 'Rain Strategy' in his speech, Bahceli summarized the political roadmap for the upcoming period with the formula of Erdogan in execution, the MHP in legislation, the People's Alliance in Turkey, and the Turkic Century in the world.

The MHP leader noted that allegations concerning the irregular use of public resources and fund investigations should be handled and investigated impartially, independently, and transparently.
