Purpose and History of the Award
The Golden Globe Science and Technology Award has been held for over two decades as a prestigious platform contributing to the discovery and networking of young Vietnamese talents in the fields of science and technology.
Organizing Institutions and History
Organized since 2003 by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the organization has been awarded to 224 outstanding individuals both domestically and internationally up to 2025.
2026 New Regulations
According to the 2026 regulations, winners will be recorded in the National Young Talent database, recommended to participate in national and international forums, and receive support regarding their education and career development.
Ten Categories and Strategic Focus
The award categories are divided into 10 groups: digital technology, cybersecurity, robotics, biomedicine, energy, semiconductor chips, environment, marine resources, aerospace, and railway systems.
Evaluation Process and Ceremony
On September 28, the Award Secretariat held a meeting in preparation for the selection and evaluation stage of candidate applications, and the award ceremony is expected to take place in Hanoi in November.
