5 executives arrested in fund and capital market investigation
Five senior executives referred to court in the fund and capital market transactions investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office have been remanded in custody.
Five suspects, including executives from Pusula Holding and Tera Yatırım Holding who were detained as part of the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, were remanded in custody by the peace criminal judgeship before which they appeared.
Investigation and Operation Process
The investigation into capital market transactions conducted by the Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is deepening. In this context, executives from various companies were detained in an operation carried out on September 19.
Referral to Court and Arrest Decision
Pusula Holding Chairman of the Board Serdar Turhan and Tera Yatırım Holding executives Emre Tezmen, Alper Öztürk, Emre Alkin, and Kerem Alkin, whose police procedures were completed, were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. The suspects were remanded in custody by the peace criminal judgeship before which they appeared.
Market Fraud Investigation
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office determined that manipulative posts were made regarding the share market of Aztek Teknoloji Ürünleri Ticaret A.Ş. In line with these determinations, detention warrants were issued for a total of 14 suspects on charges of market fraud.
Manipulation via X Account
Following a written application by the Capital Markets Board, manipulative posts made from the X social media account named '@HECTORAS58' between May 4, 2023, and July 12, 2024, were examined in detail.
Fugitive Suspects Sought
As a result of the operations carried out, 11 suspects were detained by security forces. It was reported that efforts are ongoing to capture the remaining 3 suspects for whom arrest warrants are active.
