9th Congress of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations Held
During the 9th VUSTA Congress, the new term leadership was determined, and the union positioned itself as a critical knowledge bridge internationally.
The Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations convened its 9th Congress under the theme of Unity, Creativity, Breakthrough, and Development, and a new executive board was elected.
High-Level Participation in the Congress
The 9th Congress of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) was held with the participation of prominent figures.
Politburo Member Bui Thi Minh Hoai and former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung were present at the ceremony.
Activity Report and Core Tasks
Delivering the opening speech, Dr. Phan Xuan Dung shared the performance results and five key tasks for the upcoming period.
As of the end of July, numerous provincial associations and technology organizations operate under the umbrella of the union.
New Term Leadership Elected
With the votes of the delegates, a new Executive Board consisting of 143 members was determined for the 2026-2031 term.
Professor Chau Van Minh was appointed as the new president, while Professor Dang Vu Minh was elected to the position of honorary president.
