The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the strong and concrete developments achieved in bilateral relations since the transition to a comprehensive strategic partnership.

Science and Technology Designated as a Strategic Pillar

As a result of the talks, scientific and technological cooperation was officially accepted as a new and vital foundational pillar in bilateral relations.

Areas such as aerospace, critical minerals, quantum technology, clean energy, and combating climate change were highlighted as strategic focal points.

Economy, Trade, and Value Chain Model

The leaders agreed to develop new and long-term partnerships in the economic, trade, and investment sectors.

It was decided to promote a regional and global supply-focused value chain connectivity model that brings together French technology and Vietnamese manufacturing.

Defense, Security, and Regional Issues

Agreements were reached on expanding cooperation in military medical training, coordinating efforts to combat crime, and sharing information on organized crime.

The Vietnamese side reiterated its request for support from France in dealing with the consequences of war and addressed various international issues.

Education, Culture, and Future Vision

It was decided to implement agreements signed in the fields of education and culture, support the teaching of French in Vietnam, and train qualified human resources.

While aiming to increase cultural interactions through the Vietnam Day program to be held in France in October 2026, new documents were signed in various fields.
