Adapazarı Students Win Turkish National Rankings at TEKNOFEST 2026
Students from schools in Adapazarı won first places, second places, and original design awards at the TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions in Şanlıurfa.
Students from Adapazarı achieved significant national rankings and awards in the competitions held within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2026, carrying the district's name to the top.
Major Successes Achieved at the Festival
Adapazarı students won awards in different categories in the competitions held as part of the Teknofest Southeast Festival organized in Şanlıurfa, and received their awards personally from Selçuk Bayraktar.
First Place from Sakarya Primary School
Sakarya Primary School Little Explorers Team students Melis İktimur and Elif Arya Balcı, under the guidance of their advisor teacher Tülay Dağlı, became the Turkey champion in the Nature, Environment, and Sustainability Field of the Technologies for Humanity Competition.
Double Award for SATSO Robotics Team
Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School SATSO Robotics Team won first place in Turkey in the TEKNOFEST Robolig competition, and was also deemed worthy of the Most Original Design Award in the Robotic Applications in Industry Competition.
Ranking in the Space Field from Eser Primary School
Eser Primary School students Yaman Polat and Melek Duha Yolcu, under the guidance of their advisor teacher Ayhan Yağız, became the Turkey runner-up in the Astronomy, Space, and Aviation Field of the Technologies for Humanity Competition.
Projects with High School Participation
Sakarya Cevat Ayhan Science High School with three projects and Adapazarı Anatolian Imam Hatip High School with two projects successfully represented the district at TEKNOFEST 2026.
