Amazon has made its advanced AI-powered conversational assistant Alexa+ available to users in the Indian market, complete with Hindi language support and local service integrations.

Early Access and Pricing Policy

The next-generation smart assistant has been made available to all customers in the country under early access in both English and Hindi languages.

Following the completion of the early testing phase, the service will be free for Prime members, while users without a Prime subscription will be offered it at a monthly price of 2,000 rupees.

Advanced Capabilities and Language Support

The updated AI assistant stands out with its ability to converse for longer periods and maintain context throughout the process.

Users can seamlessly switch between English and Hindi languages within the same sentence.

Local Service Integrations

Alexa+ has been integrated with the Swiggy food delivery service, the Zomato ticketing platform District, travel sites TripAdvisor and MakeMyTrip, and the restaurant reservation app EazyDiner.

Additionally, it can work compatibly with popular music streaming services such as Amazon Music and JioSaavn.
