Ankara Chamber of Industry Presented Its Production and Technology-Focused Projects to Erdoğan
The management of the Ankara Chamber of Industry shared three key vision projects with President Erdoğan to increase the city's production and export capacity.
Ankara Chamber of Industry President Seyit Ardıç presented three critical vision projects aimed at strengthening the city's production, technology, and export capacity to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. During the meeting, industrial investments as well as strategic proposals to reduce the foreign trade deficit in the health industry were discussed.
Steps to Increase Production and Employment in Ankara
Ankara Chamber of Industry (ACI) President Seyit Ardıç conveyed three vision projects aimed at increasing the city's production, technology, and export capacity to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The meeting was also attended by ATO President Gürsel Baran, ATB President Faik Yavuz, Ankara Governor Yakup Canpolat, and Ankara Development Agency General Secretary Duhan Kalkan.
ACI Technology Base and Export Targets
More than 800 companies are planned to operate and 18,000 skilled jobs are planned to be provided at the ACI Technology Base to be established in the Temelli Industrial Basin.
Thanks to the project, an annual export capacity of 1.5 billion dollars is targeted, and the region will bring a fresh breath to industry.
New Investments with ACI Free Zone
Projected to provide employment for a total of 40,000 people, the ACI Free Zone is preparing to host over 200 domestic and foreign companies.
With the realization of this project, the region is projected to reach an annual export capacity of approximately 4 billion dollars.
Turkey's First Zero Waste OIZ Project
Carrying the Zero Waste Movement pioneered by Emine Erdoğan to the center of industry, steps were taken to establish Turkey's first Zero Waste OIZ (Organized Industrial Zone).
Within the framework of the project, efficiency will be increased by converting a factory's waste and resources into production inputs for another factory.
Health Industries Presidency Proposal
In order to reduce the annual foreign trade deficit of approximately 4.3 billion dollars in the health sector, it was proposed to establish a presidency directly affiliated with the Presidency.
It was emphasized that the experience gained in the defense industry should be transferred to health technologies to strengthen supply security.
Financing and Support for Industrialists
Drawing attention to the fact that the number of exporting companies decreased and loss-making businesses increased in Ankara in 2025, it was requested that this situation not become permanent.
Proposals were presented to strengthen measures that will facilitate industrialists' access to cost-effective and long-term financing.
