Executives from the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, the American Automotive Policy Council, the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association, and other relevant groups signed the letter. It was noted that these groups represent giant manufacturers such as General Motors, Toyota, Volkswagen, Ford, Hyundai, Stellantis, and Tesla.
