New AirPods 5 Announced

Apple has officially announced the AirPods 5 model, renewing its standard headphone lineup with an open-ear design. This non-Pro next-generation headphone offers more advanced active noise cancellation performance and extended battery life.

Configuration Options

The AirPods 5 are offered to users with two separate configuration options. A standard model with a USB-C charging case and a higher version featuring a wireless charging case and touch controls via the headphone stem await users.

Advanced Noise Cancellation

Apple emphasizes that the active noise cancellation feature included in both versions delivers the most successful performance in an open-ear form factor. The new architecture blocks out external noise by up to 50 percent more compared to the previous generation.

Acoustic Architecture and Sound Quality

Thanks to the new multi-port acoustic structure and next-generation Adaptive EQ, richer and more detailed sound production is achieved across different ear anatomies. Personalized Spatial Audio performance is also strengthened with this architecture.

Artificial Intelligence and Smart Gestures

When paired with an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, hands-free Siri usage is activated. Head nodding and approval gestures are supported to answer calls or Siri notifications.

Battery Life and Charging Values

Up to 5 hours of continuous listening time is promised when active noise cancellation is turned on. The model with the wireless charging case provides a total usage time of up to 22 hours together with the case.
