Aroma of Vietnamese Water Lilies Presented at AgriVision 2026 Conference
International experts showed interest in Vietnamese lotus tea, while it was announced that 7 new lotus varieties within the academy have been placed under protection.
Held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam National University of Agriculture, the AgriVision 2026 International Conference introduced Vietnamese lotus tea and its cultural values to international guests.
AgriVision 2026 Conference Begins
The Vietnam National University of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, organized an international conference under the theme of policy, technology, and innovation.
Within the scope of the events, various scientific and cultural programs were featured as part of the 70th-anniversary celebrations of the Vietnam National University of Agriculture.
Lotus Tea Tasting Area
A special lotus tea tasting area was offered to guests by the masters of the Flower and Ornamental Plant Research and Development Center and a tea brand.
Experts from various countries such as the United States, South Korea, and China showed great interest in Vietnamese lotus tea.
New Lotus Varieties Under Protection
On the occasion of the academy's 70th anniversary, it was announced that protection certificates were granted to seven new lotus varieties in accordance with the decisions of the relevant department.
These new varieties, coded SH01, SH02, SC01, SC02, SC03, SC04, and SC05, were officially secured with Plant Variety Protection Certificates.
