During events held at Yalınca Secondary School by the Erzincan Science and Art Center within the scope of a TÜBİTAK 4009 project, village school students participated in hands-on training in artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital design for three days.

"The Future Will Be Beautified with Artificial Intelligence" Project Began

The project titled "The Future Will Be Beautified with Artificial Intelligence", prepared by the Erzincan Science and Art Center within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4009 Support Program for Village Schools, was implemented at Yalınca Secondary School.

In the events organized within the framework of project numbered 226B984, students received hands-on training in artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital design for three days.

Hands-On Training Provided in Eight Different Workshops

In the eight different workshops established within the scope of the project, students worked on problem-solving with sensors, autonomous robots, smart greenhouse design, and e-book preparation.

In addition, modern technologies such as 3D design, machine learning, and AI-supported visualization were made available for the students to experience.

Technology Awareness and Ethical Values Addressed

Artificial intelligence and ethics were also discussed in detail during the events organized to increase students' awareness of technology and involve them in production processes.

During the talk held, participants were informed about data security and the social impacts of artificial intelligence, and various evaluations were made.

Expert Team Took Part

An expert team of 13 people, consisting of academics and teachers, actively took part in the implemented project.

Thanks to these studies, it was aimed to support the access of students in village schools to activities in the fields of science and technology.

Became the First and Only Supported Project from Erzincan

Ahmet Sedat Aykal, Director of the Erzincan Science and Art Center, stated that the project is the first and only project from Erzincan entitled to receive support within the scope of the 2026 TÜBİTAK program.

Aykal emphasized that this work is of great importance in terms of sharing the center's knowledge and experience with the students.
