Technical Specifications of the HealthView Device
Developed with a design suitable for use in hospitals, medical centers, and field hospitals, the ASELSAN-produced mobile X-ray device HealthView has the capacity to obtain high-resolution images at a low dose.
Featuring the ability to take scans with a battery without being plugged into an outlet and an integrated 19-inch touch screen, the device can wirelessly transfer the obtained images to a computer environment.
Practicalities Provided in the Hospital Environment
Providing the opportunity to image patients in intensive care units and wards right in their beds without having to go to the X-ray room, this system was put into service at Sakarya Training and Research Hospital in February 2026.
The portability of the device and its quick setup grant healthcare personnel great freedom of movement within the hospital.
User Feedback and Performance
Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Güneysu expressed their satisfaction with the domestically produced device's portability, quick setup, practical use, and battery performance.
Official authorities stated that 7,000 scans were performed with the device over a period of approximately 8-9 months, and no malfunctions were experienced during this time.
