Bilim Demirci Student Ranks Third in Turkey in TÜBİTAK Exam

Serra Yağmur Oruç, a student at the TÜBİTAK-backed Bilim Demirci operating in the Demirci district of Manisa, demonstrated superior performance in the joint exam and achieved third place nationwide.
Science and Technology Base
Brought to the district in October 2025 through the initiatives of Mayor Erkan Kara, the TÜBİTAK-backed Bilim Demirci has quickly hosted 18,000 young people, becoming an important education and technology center in the region.
Thematic Workshop Studies
Within the center, training is provided in five different thematic workshops tailored specifically for the 6-14 age group: astronomy, space and aviation, natural sciences, design, mathematics, and technology.
Robotic Design from Scratch
Students actively using SPIKE Prime sets at the TÜBİTAK Summer Academy Technology Workshop design and code complex projects from scratch, ranging from autonomous systems to robotic arms.
A Proud National Ranking
In the TÜBİTAK joint exam held simultaneously across all science centers in Turkey, Fatih Secondary School 6th-grade student Serra Yağmur Oruç ranked 3rd in Turkey in the 6th-7th Grade 1st Academy category.
