BİLİMFEST Kayseri Opens Its Doors on October 16-18

The 8th BİLİMFEST Kayseri, to be held in cooperation with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and TÜBİTAK, will bring together science and technology enthusiasts at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation's Garden on October 16-18.

Location and Date of the Festival

Realized under the leadership of Kayseri Science Center, the 8th BİLİMFEST Kayseri will welcome its visitors on October 16, 17, and 18. The organization will take place at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation's Garden, which covers an area of 1.2 million square meters.

Events in Eight Different Themes

Studies will be conducted in the fields of Astronomy and Space Sciences, Biotechnology and Nanotechnology, Energy and Optics, Science and Nature Sciences, Aviation, and Engineering at the festival. In addition, approximately 200 events will be organized under the themes of gamification, robotics-coding, software technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Institutional Participation and Personnel

While approximately 1,200 personnel will serve in the organization, 55 institutions and sub-institutions will contribute to the festival. TÜBİTAK, universities, technology companies, non-governmental organizations, and 30 project schools will exhibit the projects they have developed.

Defense and Demonstration Flights

Military institutions as well as various security and public units will take part in the festival area. Meanwhile, the Turkish Stars Aerobatic Team will offer a visual feast to the participants with a demonstration flight to be performed in the skies of Kayseri.
