Organized under the coordination of the Izmir Provincial Directorate of National Education and with the support of TUBITAK, BİLİMFEST Izmir opens its doors at Agora Shopping Mall at 10.30 AM.

The Beginning of the Festival

Coordinated by the Izmir Provincial Directorate of National Education and supported within the scope of the TUBITAK 4007 Science Festivals Support Program, BİLİMFEST Izmir is preparing to welcome its visitors starting at 10.30 AM at Agora Shopping Mall.

Three-Day Program

Scheduled to take place on October 8, 9, and 10, BİLİMFEST Izmir will bring together visitors from different age groups with science and technology events for three days.

Event Areas

The festival program features various fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, biomimicry, renewable energy, sustainability, space technologies, and smart cities. More than 80 interactive workshops will be held within the scope of the events.

Experience-Oriented Process

Visitors at the festival will not only observe scientific studies; thanks to experiment, design, and application-based activities, they will also have the opportunity to directly participate in scientific processes.

SanalFest Experiences

In addition to the scientific events to be held within the scope of BİLİMFEST Izmir, SanalFest experiences focusing on digital technologies will also be presented for the use and appreciation of visitors.

Statements by Ömer Yahşi

Izmir Provincial Director of National Education Dr. Ömer Yahşi stated that the festival is an important step bringing the culture of science and technology together with broad segments of society, emphasizing children's courage to produce.

Yahşi expressed that they aim for students to grow up as individuals who design and develop the technologies of the future, describing the festival as a strong meeting ground.
