Call for proposals issued for strategic technology research and development tasks

The Ministry of Science and Technology has officially issued a call for proposals for research and development tasks in the field of strategic technologies within the framework of the National Science, Technology and Innovation Program. The deadline for submitting applications has been announced as September 30.

Scope and Details of the Call for Proposals

The Ministry of Science and Technology has published Notice No. 392/TB-BKHCN, calling for proposals for research and development tasks in the field of strategic technologies under the National Science, Technology and Innovation Program.

This grant call is implemented targeting enterprises, research institutes, higher education institutions, science and technology organizations, and direct individuals.

Basis of Implementation and Application Conditions

The program in question is implemented in accordance with the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1493/QD-TTg dated August 6, 2026, and the right to propose tasks is granted to a wide range of participants.

According to the announcements made, task proposals must be developed based on one of two designated core scenarios.

Task Development Scenarios

The first instance covers tasks assigned by the Prime Minister to the Ministry of Science and Technology as the managing agency, as specified in Decision No. 808/QD-TTg dated May 6, 2026.

The second situation involves tasks aimed at developing technologies included in the List of Strategic Technologies and the List of Strategic Technology Products issued by the Prime Minister.
