Can Tho City Works Towards 2026 Digital Transformation Goals

Can Tho city announced that it has completed 175 out of 282 designated tasks within the scope of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, while aiming to reach all targets by the end of the year.

Steering Committee Meeting Held

The Can Tho City Party Committee organized a meeting of the Steering Committee for the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in the city.

During the meeting, the results achieved so far were evaluated, and key directions and tasks for the remaining months of 2026 were determined.

Electronic Document and Administrative System Expanded

The Document Management and Administrative System has been put into use, covering 108 institutions and the People's Committees of 103 communes and wards across the city.

Thanks to the system, seamless electronic document exchange is ensured across three levels, from the central government to local levels.

Task Completion Status and Goals

Out of the 282 assigned tasks, 175 have been completed, while the implementation of the remaining 107 tasks continues as planned.

With resolute leadership, the city aims to complete 100% of the tasks assigned to it by the end of 2026.

Human Resources and Digital Economy Development

There are 1,066 civil servants specializing in digital transformation or working part-time in this field across the city.

While there are more than 702 digital and information technology enterprises in the region, cashless payment methods are implemented in 100% of the markets.
