Chemical Corps Accelerates Digital Transformation and Technological Development Steps
Aiming to achieve a lean and strong structure, the Corps made critical progress in countering weapons of mass destruction, monitoring systems, and command-and-control capabilities through hundreds of scientific projects completed during the 2021–2025 period.
The Chemical Corps has accelerated its activities in science, technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation to increase its chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense capacity.
Scientific Projects and Innovation Initiatives
Between 2021 and 2025, the Corps successfully completed hundreds of scientific projects, initiatives, and technical improvement efforts. Carried out at the national level and within the Ministry of Defense, these projects directly contributed to the design, research, and production processes of chemical defense equipment.
Thanks to the newly developed systems, the monitoring and warning infrastructure was strengthened, while the use of digital technologies in command, control, and training mechanisms was expanded.
Strategic Decisions and Structural Transformation
In line with the decision of the Central Military Commission dated January 29, 2025, new steps were taken to implement science, technology, and innovation breakthroughs in the military. The Chemical Corps Party Committee accelerated the process by establishing working groups and a Steering Committee in this regard.
Developments in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, quantum computing, robotics, and autonomous systems offer new opportunities on the one hand, while bringing challenges and risks that must be overcome in the field of defense on the other.
