Children Combine Technology and Design at Event Held in Bilim Fatih
During the Science Stations program organized by the Fatih Municipality, children experienced the digital world through virtual reality while developing their manual skills with felt bag and painting activities.
The Science Stations event, implemented by the Fatih Municipality within Bilim Fatih, offered children the opportunity to develop technology and manual skills together. Throughout the program, students both explored the digital world with virtual reality goggles and produced bags they designed themselves.

The Fatih Municipality continues to carry out various activities under the umbrella of Bilim Fatih to enable children to learn by wondering and to experience different technologies.
Digital Discovery with Virtual Reality
At the technology station of the event, children were introduced to the digital world using virtual reality goggles and had the opportunity to examine different simulations.
Students found the opportunity to experience many different environments in three dimensions, from the depths of space to historical sites.
Felt Bag Making at the Production Station
During the felt bag work carried out at the production station of the program, colorful felt pieces were cut, assembled, sewn, and shaped.
Thanks to this process, children personally experienced the different stages in the emergence of a product in a hands-on way.
Painting and Design Studies
The painting activity organized after the preparation of the bags allowed students to add their own personal interpretations to their designs.
Bringing different colors and patterns together, the participants reflected the elements in their imagination onto their bags.
Versatile Education and Learning Experience
At the end of the event, children who gained various experiences regarding new technologies took home the unique bags they prepared with their own hands.
