Conference Held on Vietnam Ministry of National Defence Science and Technology Program
The program, to be conducted in two phases between June 2026 and December 2028, aims to modernize the Vietnam People's Army and enhance its combat power.
An evaluation conference on the implementation of the Ministry of National Defence Science and Technology Program was held under the chairmanship of Lieutenant General Nguyen Ba Luc, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.
Implementation of the Program and Progress
At the conference, the report presented by the Program Steering Committee was reviewed, and future implementation steps, tasks, and solution proposals were discussed.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Ba Luc commended the efforts of the Military Science Department and relevant units in fully understanding and implementing the issued decisions.
Strategic Goals and Two-Phase Schedule
Highlighting the urgency of the program in light of global and regional developments, Nguyen Ba Luc asked personnel to focus on inspection, research, and document development processes.
The work, to be carried out in two phases between June 2026 and December 2028, will contribute to building the Vietnam People's Army into a modern and elite force.
