Contribution of Science, Technology, and Digital Transformation to Development Evaluated
During the thematic meeting addressing the third-quarter work of 2026, the impacts of science and technology on growth were evaluated.
Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, a thematic meeting on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation was held to contribute to socio-economic development and evaluate the work results for the third quarter of 2026.
Purpose and Scope of the Meeting
Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, a thematic meeting was held both in-person at the government headquarters and via online connection with provinces and cities nationwide.
In this session, the contributions of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation to socio-economic development, along with the work results for the third quarter of 2026, were comprehensively evaluated.
Status of Task Completion
According to official reports shared at the meeting, out of 2,011 tasks monitored under Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, 1,326 were successfully completed.
It was reported that 482 tasks within the same framework are being regularly implemented, 176 tasks are ongoing, and 27 tasks are delayed.
Database and Infrastructure Works
Efforts carried out within the scope of establishing national and specialized databases were among the key agenda items of the meeting.
It was announced that 8 out of the 12 existing core databases have been successfully synchronized with the National Data Center.
Prime Minister's Evaluations
In his speech at the meeting, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung emphasized that science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation must serve as the driving forces of growth and labor productivity.
Requesting that results be measured rather than inputs, the Prime Minister called for the completion of delayed tasks and the resolution of data bottlenecks.
