Having been diagnosed with severe hernias in his neck and back regions approximately four years ago, 5th President Ersin Tatar had postponed the surgery upon his doctors' advice, managing the process through treatment, sports, and swimming.

Emergency Intervention and Hospital Process

As the hernia began pressing on the nerves in his right arm over time, Tatar was urgently taken into surgery on Saturday morning at Istanbul Medipol Hospital and underwent a successful operation.

Health Status and Physical Therapy

Stating that his health condition is quite good following the surgery, Ersin Tatar announced that his treatment will continue for a period with a physical therapy process.
