CU Denver Launches New Educational Initiatives Against AI Transformation
The university is updating its curriculum and establishing a new center in response to the rapidly growing impact of artificial intelligence technologies in the business world.
The University of Colorado Denver is carrying out campus-wide efforts to teach practical skills and update its curriculum in order to adapt to the rapid transformation brought by artificial intelligence technologies in the labor market.
Opening of the AI Hub
The AI Hub, established jointly by three units within the university, is being prepared to operate inside the North Classroom Building.
The center will support students with hands-on learning experiences, interdisciplinary studies, workshops, and hackathon programs.
Interdisciplinary Curriculum Updates
Units such as the College of Engineering, Design and Computing and the Business School have begun offering new artificial intelligence programs and certificates.
While the philosophy department added an artificial intelligence ethics course, the College of Architecture and Planning integrated artificial intelligence assignments into its course contents.
Research and Projects
Faculty members and students are developing open-source tools and machine learning solutions that analyze complex biological data.
Researchers in chemistry and computer science are using artificial intelligence for generating scientific visuals and infrastructure inspection processes.
