Digital Literacy Day Organized for Youth in Loc Thanh Commune
A comprehensive literacy event was implemented in Dong Nai to enhance the digital knowledge and skills of young people.
The 2026 Public Digital Literacy Day event was held in Loc Thanh commune in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dong Nai City and the Center for Science, Technology and Youth Talent Development.
Purpose and Scope of the Event
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dong Nai City coordinated with the Center for Science, Technology and Youth Talent Development to implement the 2026 Public Digital Literacy Day in Loc Thanh commune.
Activities Conducted by the Center
Trinh Minh Thai, Director of the Center for Science, Technology and Youth Talent Development, stated that they are implementing the action program of the Central Committee of the Youth Union following the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.
The center chose to organize Digital Literacy Day across 10 border communes nationwide in 2026.
Role of Youth and Calls to Action
Phan The Cong, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dong Nai City, invited young people to play a pioneering role, update their technological knowledge, and support the digital transformation process.
Training and Competition Activities
Within the framework of the event, local youth union members and young people received training on applying artificial intelligence to local issues, online public services, using VNeID, and information security and the protection of digital identity.
The program also featured an AI programming competition, quiz contests, and virtual reality and robotics activities.
