The Ministry of Science and Technology has implemented the national program for the 2026-2030 period in order to improve standards in the field of child protection and expand digital transformation.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Program

The Ministry of Science and Technology is implementing the National Program for the Prevention and Reduction of Child Labor in Illegal Forms and Child Protection for the 2026-2030 period.

The general objective is to contribute to ensuring that children live in a safe and healthy environment and to reduce the risk of violence, abuse, exploitation, and abandonment.

Technology and Digital Transformation-Focused Efforts

The focus of the program is to improve standards, enhance child protection in the online environment, integrate data, and promote the application of technology and digital transformation in child protection efforts.

In accordance with the plan, the ministry will perform tasks consistent with the functions of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation within the scope of state governance in coordination with relevant institutions.

Target of a Common Database System

One of the important targets of the plan is the effective monitoring of the situation of children at risk.

One hundred percent of children who have been abused, are at risk of violence, have been exposed to exploitation, have been abandoned, and are in other special situations will be managed in a common database.

Awareness Raising for Families and Students

The plan also aims to disseminate knowledge and skills for protecting children—including self-defense skills against online violence—to families and students.
