Discover Science with All Its Colors Festival Begins in Erzincan
Events implemented through the cooperation of various institutions aim to bring all segments of society together with science and technology.
Organized within the scope of the Science Festivals Support Program, the event named Discover Science with All Its Colors: Erzincan Science Festival-3 opened with a ceremony at Clock Tower Square.
Opening Ceremony of the Festival
The opening of the festival, carried out under the leadership of the Erzincan Provincial Directorate of National Education and coordinated by the Erzincan Science and Art Center, took place at Clock Tower Square.
Protocol members, institutional managers, teachers, and numerous students attended the opening program.
Inter-Institutional Cooperation
The event is organized through the joint cooperation of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Erzincan Municipality, the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, and the Directorate of Culture.
With this comprehensive partnership, it is aimed to bring science and technology together with different segments of society.
Workshops and Activities
Featuring a total of 32 activities under three themes, the festival has established 27 workshops, including 12 themed around artificial intelligence and 15 themed around science and technology.
Additionally, the program brings visitors together with 2 competitions, one show, one interactive exhibition, and 2 talks.
Targeted Number of Participants
In the event where 27 workshop leaders consisting of academics and teachers take part, scientific studies are conveyed hands-on.
Appealing to students from primary school to high school, teachers, and city residents, the festival aims to reach approximately 8,700 people over three days.
