Developed by Turkish engineers to speed up the work of crime scene investigation teams within the General Directorate of Security, the domestic technology was presented to visitors at TEKNOFEST Southeast.

TEKNOFEST Enthusiasm in Şanlıurfa

The Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, carried out under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, continues to welcome its visitors at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport. Domestic technologies attract great interest at the event where innovative projects of institutions are exhibited.

Domestic Solution for Crime Scene Investigation

A special kit was developed by Turkish engineers to shorten the details and duration of crime scene illumination by the General Directorate of Security crime scene investigation teams. This domestic technology is exhibited at TEKNOFEST Southeast held at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport.

Rapid Measurement with Laser Technology

Thanks to the kit installed at the crime scene, laser projection is carried out by looking at the entry direction of the bullet into an object. Teams make angle and distance measurements with the help of lasers, revealing the region where the incident took place and the details in a shorter time.

Mathematical Calculation and Height Detection

Mathematical calculations are made at the entry and exit points of the bullet core to obtain a specific angle. With this angle placed on the system and the height calculations made, where the shot came from is detected via laser systems.

Transition from String Method to Laser System

Procedures previously carried out with the help of strings have turned into a great convenience thanks to this newly developed laser system. The system makes an important contribution to the illumination of incidents by showing the refractions of the bullet core's approach angles.
