First HÜRJET produced for the Air Force completes pre-delivery flight
The first HÜRJET in serial production configuration to be delivered to the Air Force Command successfully performed its maiden flight, remaining airborne for 18 minutes following ground and taxi tests.

Presidency of Defense Industries President Haluk Görgün and TUSAŞ General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu made statements regarding the successful flight.
Important Milestone in the HÜRJET Program
The HÜRJET program, which started in 2017, left behind a critical threshold with its first flight on April 25, 2023. Within the scope of flight test activities carried out with the produced prototypes, supersonic speeds were reached.
Pre-Delivery First Flight
Final assembly line activities for the first HÜRJET to be delivered to the Air Force Command have been completed. Accompanied by the first prototype during the flight following ground and taxi tests, the HÜRJET remained in the air for 18 minutes.
Six Aircraft to Be Produced in the First Phase
Within the scope of the program, 6 HÜRJET aircraft will be produced in the first phase. While production and test activities continue as planned, work for the delivery-configuration aircraft is being carried out simultaneously.

Presidency of Defense Industries President Haluk Görgün shared footage of the first flight, stating that the flight coincided with Victory Day and thanking the entire team and stakeholders who contributed to the project.
