Five-Day TEKNOFEST Excitement Begins at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport
The technology gathering of the Southeast has opened its doors in Şanlıurfa with aviation shows and competitions.
Bringing together technology enthusiasts and young inventors, TEKNOFEST Southeast opened its doors to visitors at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport with events that will last for five days.
Scope of the Festival and Competitions
Within the scope of TEKNOFEST Southeast, various shows, exhibitions, and the finals of technology competitions in 14 categories are being held between September 30 and October 4.
Events appealing to participants of all ages, from advanced technology simulations to scientific workshops, are welcoming visitors.
Air Shows and National Vehicles
SOLOTÜRK, Turkish Stars, and combat aircraft are performing breathtaking demonstration flights at the festival.
National defense vehicles such as ATAK helicopters, HÜRKUŞ, ANKA, Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB3, and Bayraktar AKINCI are on display.
First Day Program and Events
On the first day of the festival, held in a 191,000-square-meter area at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport, parachute jumps and science shows are taking place.
The Gendarmerie Steel Wings demonstration flight, the flag-salute flight, and the opening ceremony are among other activities included in the program.
Visitor Information and Transportation
Visitors are required to register online in order to enter the event, where participation is completely free of charge.
Visitor entries and exits are carried out between 09:00 and 19:00, while free public transportation vehicles are provided for access to the area.
