Foreign Trade University Establishes Technology Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

Foreign Trade University has officially announced the establishment of the FTU Technology Laboratory to conduct research focused on artificial intelligence and data science in the fields of economics, business, management, and law.

Purpose of the Laboratory's Establishment

Foreign Trade University has taken a new step to promote interdisciplinary education and research among the fields of economics, business, and technology.

The newly established FTU Technology Laboratory was designed as an interdisciplinary research space combining technology with the university's core strengths.

Core Research Areas

The laboratory initially focuses on three main research areas.

These areas include artificial intelligence for economics and forecasting, corporate financial analysis, and text analysis in international trade law.

Practical Application and Goals

The research projects are expected to transform into solutions that serve businesses and society.

Vice Rector Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hang stated that the laboratory will serve as a coordination point for the ecosystem.

Future Vision and Partnerships

The laboratory aims to become one of the leading centers for artificial intelligence research in economics, trade, and law by 2030.

Cooperation agreements were signed with FISU Vietnam and CMC Technology Group within the scope of the event.
