Hai Phong Electronics and Information Association Strengthens Through Merger

The Hai Phong Electronics and Information Association and the Hai Duong Provincial Information and Electronics Association have joined forces to create a new professional structure with a total of 21 branches and more than 400 members.

The Hai Phong Electronics and Information Association and the Hai Duong Provincial Information and Electronics Association have completed the merger process in accordance with the policies of the central government and the city, stepping into a new era. As a result of this merger, a broader professional organization comprising a total of 21 branches and over 400 members has been established.
Established History and Development Process
The Hai Phong Electronics and Information Association was founded in 1989, leaving behind a 37-year development process. Formerly known as the Hai Duong Provincial Information and Electronics Association, it was established in 1999 and has been operating for 27 years. The two institutions have built a qualified team in the fields of electronics and information.
Contribution to City Development
In recent years, the activities of the associations have been aligned with the practical tasks of the city. In cooperation with specialized organizations, workshops are organized on the application of digital technology in businesses and smart rural areas, and active participation is provided in e-government and smart city projects.
June 2026 Workshop
In cooperation with the Hai Phong City Electronics and Information Association, the Hai Phong City Union of Science and Technology Associations, and the Hai Phong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a comprehensive digital transformation workshop is being organized in June 2026 aiming to increase the competitiveness of regional businesses.
